You are responsible for how you interpret and use information provided by the app. purpose is not responsible for decisions you make based on app content or recommendations.

6. AI & Third-Party Services

Some features rely on artificial intelligence and third-party services to function properly, such as meal photo analysis and nutrition databases. When you use these features, limited information may be shared with these providers only as necessary to deliver the requested feature (for example, an uploaded meal photo for nutrition estimation or a barcode for food lookup).

AI-generated outputs are estimates and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. These services are used to support app functionality, not to sell your personal data.

7. Payments

If you subscribe to Plus, payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. purpose does not receive or store your full payment information and does not have access to your complete card details. Subscription management, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled by the respective app store.

We share information only when necessary to operate the app, provide features you request, comply with legal obligations, or protect users and the platform. This may include limited sharing with cloud hosting providers, AI processing services, nutrition data sources, analytics providers, and app store services. We do not sell your data to advertisers.
