Eligibility & Age Requirement

purpose is intended for individuals who are at least 13 years of age. By using the app, you confirm that you are 13 years old or older. We do not knowingly collect or solicit information from children under 13. If we learn that a user under 13 has created an account, we may delete the account and associated data.

What purpose Does

purpose is a nutrition and wellness application that allows users to log meals and hydration, analyze meal photos, scan products, track wellness information, explore recipes, and receive AI-generated insights based on information they choose to provide.

License to Use purpose

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use purpose for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the app except where permitted by law.

Not Medical Advice

purpose provides educational and informational content only. It is not intended to provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and does not replace professional healthcare guidance. All nutrition values, insights, and AI-generated results are estimates and may be inaccurate. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making health or dietary decisions.

Health & Wellness Information

purpose may allow you to enter personal wellness-related information such as nutrition intake, hydration levels, body measurements, wellness goals, and mood data. This information is used solely to provide app features and insights. purpose is not a healthcare provider and does not operate as a medical service.

AI Features & Limitations

Some features use artificial intelligence to analyze inputs such as meal photos, uploaded images, scanned barcodes, meal entries, dietary preferences, allergies, and wellness goals. AI outputs are estimates and may be incomplete, incorrect, or outdated. AI-generated outputs may vary and should not be relied upon as factual or professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing all results and deciding how to use them.

Allergies & Dietary Preferences Disclaimer

purpose may highlight potential allergens or dietary compatibility, but results are provided on a best-effort basis and cannot guarantee safety. Ingredient data may be missing or inaccurate, and cross-contamination cannot be verified. You are responsible for confirming food safety before consuming anything, especially if you have allergies or dietary restrictions.

User Content

You may upload content such as meal photos, images, or logs. You retain ownership of your content, but you grant purpose permission to store, process, and use that content to provide app features such as analysis, history, and personalization. You should only upload content you have the right to share.

Subscriptions (Plus)

Some features require a Plus subscription. Payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. purpose does not collect or store your full payment information.

Subscription billing, renewals, cancellations, refunds, pricing, and regional availability are determined by the respective app store. Subscription prices may vary by country or region.

Subscriptions must be managed and canceled through your app store account. Deleting your purpose account or uninstalling the app does not automatically cancel your subscription.

Advertising & Rewarded Features

purpose may offer optional features supported by advertising, such as rewards after viewing advertisements. Advertising availability is not guaranteed.

Advertising partners may collect device identifiers and limited usage data in accordance with their own privacy policies.

You agree not to manipulate or misuse advertising or reward mechanisms. Access may be limited if abuse or fraud is detected.

Availability & No Warranties

purpose is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee accuracy, reliability, or uninterrupted access. Features may change or be discontinued at any time.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, purpose and its owner are not liable for damages, losses, injuries, or outcomes arising from your use of the app or reliance on its content or features.

You acknowledge that all outputs and recommendations are estimates. Your use of purpose is voluntary and at your own risk.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of purpose after updates are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
